Love this library, which has the community hall adjoining. Always a warm and friendly atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. I love the Wakefield library app which allows me to reserve books and for them to be delivered here. I was surprised how many newly published books are available too which has saved me a lot of money. Definitely recommend.
In the time of dwindling public services and local authority spending cuts, this library was a pleasant suprise. Well stocked, well maintained with friendly pleasant staff who clearly care about their work. An absolute credit to the community, this is a top class, working library
Brilliant Wakefield WordFest. Took my young toddler and he really enjoyed it. Lovely little library!
My favourite library. An intimate space with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Children from the local school visit for stories. Adults use the books, computers and social space. Knit and Natter and family history groups are known to huddle in the corner. Always a pleasant time.
Lovely local library. Excellent staff, so helpful and friendly. I found the environment quiet and easy to work in when I attended.
