A lovely walk with lots of things to do for all ages
Wakefields ‘Pugneys’ is a wonderful water park and a joy to walk around & explore in any season. The park offers a fabulous variety of kids play equipment, mini train ride, water sports, pedaloes & various exercise challenges. There are also purpose built brick barbecue stands around the park on a first come basis, which are often popular in hot weather for picnics. Although the park does remain open until 9pm during the summer months, please note the cafe/toilet facilities do inconveniently close much earlier at 4pm! Parking is by pay & display, even at times not charging please be mindful a displayed ticket is still necessary!
It OK, pretty small, gets really busy, but its a nice place to cone when its a but quieter
Nice place. Shame about irresponsible dog owners who let them loose without their leads near the playground
Great playground, even for babies. It’s always so so busy here though.
