Great independent coffee shop that is a safe space in the community. Lu works so hard and nothing is ever too much for her. I would recommend coming. There are also 2 book clubs that I would recommend if you want to get back into reading!
Absolutely lovely local independent CoffeeWrite on Marygate. Has a Read, Swap, Donate book library, showcases local artists, holds book clubs and writing groups. The most wonderful owner who works so hard for the community. Not to mention the incredible coffee, teas, cold drinks and gorgeous snacks.
Lovely little cafe, easy to miss when walking past! The coffee is so tasty and the owner seems so sweet. I love the space, it seems calming and welcoming :)
A lovely little place with beautiful coffee, great cakes, cold drinks as well as hot drinks too! Great space and plenty of plug sockets to get some work done to simply chill out and enjoy some coffee! Flat white and lemon drizzle cake for me please!
A truly creative coffee shop run by the owner, who is an author and writer herself! A great place to host workshops, meetings, get togethers and overall chats. The space also displays local art by artists and takes part in the ArtWalk. Fantastic selection of coffee, tea and cakes. I had the best lemon drizzle here. A great independent coffee shop full of exciting potential for the future.
