We had our first coffee and sandwiches here today. The sandwiches were lovely- the best sausage sandwiches we've ever had anywhere. Yes, it's not particularly cheap (or particularly expensive, given prices everywhere these days) but we thought the food and drink was good value for money. Excellent and friendly service too, in a nice atmosphere. We'll definitely go again the next time we're in Wakefield.
I needed somewhere to pass some time today and i thought this little coffee shop looked cute, we had a warm welcome, ordering was easy with options, staff were friendly, I had a pram and they brought my drinks and snacks over to the table for me, then a friendly thank you and goodbye when I was leaving, will definitely stop here again when passing, thanks girls :)
Absolutely disappointed. Staff very unfriendly. 4 people working and no one bothered to clean a table where we sat. We got a wooden plank with table number and we were told to wait for table service. They never bothered bringing food and coffee instead were calling people to collect. What's the point. Last time I had my lunch here.
Very expensive for what it is £9. The taste was nice. Customer service wasn’t good.
Always great tasting coffee, comfy cafe, can't say cosy as it's open plan in the shopping centre. Unlike other recent reviews, I found the three staff today to be really friendly and chatty. Very helpful, took order and delivered to table. Had time to chat with customers. Joking and laughing with customers, very jolly! Clearly a good number of regulars too on first name terms. Definitely give it a go and don't be put off by other reviews.
