I ordered a regular latte, they gave me it in the smallest cup ever and said thats a regular and the next size up is large. The "large" cup was a regular size. It cost me £3.40 for a tini coffee, that didn't taste the best. I wont be going back here.
Decent eatery with a range of toasties (around 20 options) and nice cakes. Also do good burgers and a cooked breakfast.
We had a breakfast there several times. Breakfast was good, enjoyed it. The only thing that need changing is mushrooms that are black and bitter so i had to leave them unfortunatelly. Location is comfortablee, staff is very nice. Can recommend it.
Had a lovely lunch if a toastie, chips and a drink each, nothing to complain about. Price was very good and good was just as good. Will be coming back.
Rude disrespectful staff member. Went in to buy a drink, beforehand I used the toilet and then on my way to the cold drinks fridge, a member of staff shouted 'yes' twice, I looked as there was only myself walking past. I said 'are you talking to me' she then called me over and said 'you shouldn't be using the toilet, it is for customers, I replied 'i am a customer, I am buying a drink, I needed the toilet so went there first'. She then said argumentively ' you are not, you were walking that way and now we are closed anyway' The time was around 4pm and they closed at 5.30. 'I said I was going to the cold drinks fridge'. I remained polite and respectful as I do not like conflict. However the member of staffs manner was aggressive and argumentative and not the customer service you would expect to receive, especially when you are a calm, polite and respectful paying customer. I will therefore not be going into coffee melt for a drink/food again, as the customer service was shocking.
