First time (solo) visitor for the recent Wolfsbane gig and I'm kicking myself for leaving it so long. A great venue, lots of free parking nearby after 6pm, intimate inside, great sound and TV screens just in case you can't quite see the full stage (unlikely), that was unexpected. Facilities are good, the stage is easy to see, I love the idea of the seated table tickets too.
Always love the music at venue 23. The staff are great and it is so nice to be able to take my 16yo.
Can not recommend this venue highly enough. First time there to see crazy lixx, crashdiet and cruel intentions and so impressed. Met the owner who spent time chatting with me and the Mrs and we even got to meet the bands. If you love small venues for rock gigs this has to be on your list. I will 10000% be going back it's up there with my favourites
Excellent venue excellent crowd, spoilt by an over the top security member, who instead of politely telling people to go back,PHYSICALLY pushed 2 double doors shut and in doing so people fell down 3 steps onto a lady in a wheelchair. The power of a badge sometimes goes to people's head.when I told him ,face to face,he said that wasn't an exit.Tell the to the lady in the wheelchair, who had people pushed onto her.Great venue, but that guy should be stripped of his badge.
Great little venue for live music. Only improvement could be achieved through offering a wide selection of non alcohol drinks for drivers who don't chance drinking and driving. There are too many tables and chairs in my opinion especially as the tables are large, recently I was literally barricaded in by 5 tables with lots of people sat around and I had to use a stick for balance. But overall I hope it goes from strength to strength as the venue and the owner deserve it.
