I went to the Capri function room yesterday for a 40th birthday party, and honestly, it was fantastic. The room itself is a great size — spacious enough for everyone to sit comfortably without feeling cramped, but still cozy enough to keep the energy buzzing. The layout made it easy to mingle and just relax at a table. The atmosphere was spot-on too. Warm lighting, a lively vibe, and a setup that made the whole celebration feel really special. You can tell the space was designed with events in mind because everything just flowed smoothly. Overall, I was genuinely impressed and would happily recommend the Capri function room for any event. It made the party feel elevated and memorable.
Tempura was nice although the waiter put the fingers on my plate to take the chilli sauce which previously indicated went ordered that I didn’t want, so not nice. Should used something else instead of fingers. The Rissoto was ok but still a bit more to Cook. I'm Spanish and I know very well the italian food how should be cooked. The staff was very nice. The place very clean. To sum up... I expected more for the price.
We have eaten at Capri at the containers many time and always been impressed so we decided to try this restaurant for a change. We ate on a Sunday lunchtime while there is a Sunday roast option, we opened for the main menu. The food was nice, but not outstanding so we will be opting for the containers next time!
Brunch. Seriously, really good. Service was amazing. The food was so good. I prefer Newmillerdam as a venue, but cannot complain about The Vine. Went for Brunch. Poached eggs, halloumi, sour dough toast, mushrooms and hollandaise. As an ex chef and hotelier, seriously so very well executed. I highly recommend. Could not fault.
A brilliant atmosphere which can become a busy but thriving place. Excellent choice of food on the menu. The lobster was delicious. Definitely worth tipping the staff as they are super friendly & go above & beyond. We brought a birthday cake which they put there own birthday music on & bring the cake to the table with candles lit. I would come again & recommend to friends & family.
