Had a wonderful dining experience at Mumbai Boss in Sandal, Wakefield. The food was outstanding and truly lived up to the name. The chicken biryani was exceptional — fragrant, perfectly cooked rice with tender, well-marinated chicken and beautifully balanced spices. Every bite was flavourful without being overpowering. The shishlik chicken sizzler was another highlight, served sizzling hot with juicy, smoky pieces of chicken and fresh vegetables, making it both delicious and visually impressive. The chicken chaat was equally impressive — fresh, tangy, and bursting with flavour, with just the right mix of spices and textures. What really elevated the experience was the hospitality. The owner (as I assume) and the restaurant manager Zitu Rahman, along with the entire team, were incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming. Service was prompt, friendly, and made us feel genuinely valued as customers. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the food quality is consistently high, and the attention to detail shows in both the kitchen and the service. If you’re in or around Wakefield and looking for authentic, flavour-packed Indian food, Mumbai Boss is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended!
Went there on a Thursday evening with a friend. The people there were very, very friendly, which made the visit very pleasant. The food came steaming onto the table and we never had to wait long. It was a lovely experience with delicious food and nice people. I would recommend it to others.
Quiet weds evening, staff very attentive but got quite annoying when they kept mentioning that they were the best Indian restaurant. Food was great.
Really nice food! Visited on a Sunday evening when they first opened, it was very quiet but that’s better for me as my hearing is terrible. The food was great, fresh and tasty. Really enjoyed it!
We normally eat in, however yesterday we decided to try a takeaway instead. Very impressed, tasted just as good as when you dine in. Same portion, same food quality. Just amazing!!!!
