***YOU NEED TO TRY THIS AMAZING FOOD*** This place is under new management, regardless of what the past reviews say! The food is amazing, fresh and very tasty! I ordered the munchies box and it blew my mind! The best chinese I have tried in Wakefield by far! Haf trouble before but thought it was a one off and so decided to try again. We ordered set meal for 2. It came on time but missing the appetizers and the prawn crackers were stale. I phoned and asked where the starters were and asked for more prawn crackers. They were sent about 20mins later. On arrival my spring roll was flat cold, even after putting it in my airfryer to warm up and after 4 mins it was still cold. The prawn crackers were still stale. I had beef in black bean sauce, the beef has never seen a cow before, my husband got a special curry with 3 pieces of chicken and onions, both meals have been thrown away
First time ordering from Rainbow and won't be the last, lovely friendly lady taking the phone order, having our meal delivered exactly in the time slot agreed , piping hot, very tasty and great value for money, Thankyou to all at Rainbow Chinese Takeaway , looking forward to ordering again soon .
By far the best Chinese takeaway in Wakefield, great food, excellent service, and really good with intolerances. If you call up they will do everything they can to help you with your intolerances, and change dishes to accommodate them. Can't recommend this place enough.
