Visited Tanvi’s Indian Restaurant tonight with my wife, and we were absolutely delighted! We tried the Hyderabadi Chicken Boneless Dum Biryani, Chicken Masala Dosa, Nilgiri Chicken Tikka, and Chicken Kulcha — every dish was bursting with authentic flavours and cooked to perfection. The manager, Naidu, was incredibly warm and attentive, and the entire staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The ambience was elegant yet comfortable, giving a fine-dining touch without being pretentious. Portion sizes were generous, the quality top-notch, and prices very reasonable for the experience offered. Their newly introduced Sunday breakfast South Indian brunch is also a hero inclusion and is already a hit at a very reasonable pricing point too. A perfect spot for anyone in Wakefield or nearby looking for true Indian flavours and great hospitality. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back soon!
Lovely food, not over filling. Nice atmosphere & thoroughly enjoyable experience. I saw the ratings for this place on google maps a few weeks ago and thought I’d consider it for mine and my friends annual catchup. We both enjoyed it.
The best Indian restaurants I’ve been to! The flavours of every course were truly next level. The Dragon Chicken starter had a real kick to it but was full of flavour and very tasty. Staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable too. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back!
Went an tryed here with trusty side kick .Really lovely place staff so helpful friendly. Table was rocking all over so we got moved the food was fantastic so tasty I could tell difference between our meals . Good selection of drink for adults an kids . Portions are good size an reasonable price too bathrooms were clean too 2p coin on lime scale on taps would shine em back up but yes lovely place
Absolutely stunning!! The staff we're really nice. We got there at 5 so it was still early and not too busy. Theres a deal between 5 and 7, you get a poppadom, starter, curry and a side for £18. We just ordered additional chips and a nann bread but it definitely wasnt needed.
