First time we were flummoxed by the QR code. Ended up with a fine. Paid by cash second time cost 3.80 and we were going to visit REEL cinema. Nowhere does it tell you that if you've booked the cinema it is free for 4 hours approx. All you do is park up and then put your car reg details into the tablet that's propped up on the counter at REEL cinemas. They want to encourage visitors but after the 60 quid fine we stopped shopping at the Ridings. We will of course still visit the excellent cinema.
Tried to pay via instructions wouldn't let, had a second attempt managed to pay put only part of reg number printed. Got a fine appealed against it with the ticket I got from the machine and a screenshot of my bank statement clearly showing right amount coming out of my bank. When they replied they rejected my appeal and I had 14 days to pay or the charge would be £100 to pay .All there bothered about is ripping people off will never use it again There's no wonder the place is slowly closing down
Great lighting, plenty of spaces, quick entry and exit. Would park again.
Quite possibly the worst car park for payments in the country? Not far off.
