Never been here before and thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty of space to park and fair priced. 2.5 kilometers round lake but plenty of routes to expand if needed even up to sandal castle. Good pram friendly paths. cafe was clean friendly staff and good prices and plenty of food choices. Toilets in cafe could be more but better some than none. Exercise equipment spaced out on way round lake was a novel way to get kids to try with plenty of seating and litter bins. Will definitely go again.

Nice place for a short walk(about 2.5k around) Plenty of parking. £1 for two hours. Cafe on site. We went on a Sunday and the service was so slow. Didnt seem to be enough staff on for a weekend day.

This is the perfect place for a country walk close to the city. It takes around 35 minutes to walk around the park loop. The parking is £1 for 2 hours, so you could push 3-4 laps if you’re fast enough. The light railway is adorable and there’s plenty of activities for kids to enjoy around the park.

A nice stroll around the lake with the dog, which took us about 80 minutes. A good car park with reasonable prices and a café with toilets. The only real downside is the road noise.

There are a few disabled bays available, and parking is free for Blue Badge holders, which is a plus. However, most of the car park isn't well maintained, with uneven surfaces in places. On the bright side, it's conveniently close to the children's play area and the café, making it easy to access key facilities.
