Parking is fine. It was the ticket payment machine thst was the problem. I ended up putting 2 lots of ÂŁ2.20 in to try to obtain a ticket, and after that failed I had to download the app and pay again. NOT happy but we needed to park to get to an appointment on Drury Lane
Just a carpark but close enough to courts library and town centre
Council run car park. Perfect for Unity House and Theatre. Free after 6pm, which is a bonus if you're going to a performance.
Convenient car park for the Railway Station if you want to park all day and not pay the grossly inflated Merchant Gate prices and come back to a vandalised car. Run by WMDC uses the IMPermit app to pay (or hard cash, which nobody uses these days) Only downside is the compulsory right turn on leaving the car park. So a journey to Horbury or Ossett involves going round the block about a mile detour.
Like it being free after a certain time, makes an evening out more enjoyable. Other than that.. .it's a car park!
