If you haven’t been to Kirkgate Barbers with Goran yet, what are you even doing with your life? I walked in looking like I’d been dragged through a hedge backwards and walked out feeling like the King of the World — no, the God of the World. Goran’s scissors are basically magic wands. He gave me a haircut so sharp I nearly cut myself just looking in the mirror. The banter was top-notch too — we laughed so much I nearly fell off the chair. I half expected them to start charging for comedy as well as haircuts. The place feels like a cross between a high-end salon and your funniest mate’s living room. If you want your hair sorted and a giggle that’ll leave you crying with laughter, this is your spot. Warning: You might leave with a haircut AND abs from laughing so hard. Five stars? Avoid this place at all costs. Rude to customers and if there’s a queue and you are first, be prepared to wait even longer as queues don’t apply if you are Kurdish
