Mister Gee (Wakefield)

I take my child here for his hair cutting every two weeks the price is really reasonable but the main reason I bring him here are because of the staff. The waiting room is quite large therefore has a large space for my child to run in circles. My child has adhd and autism and doesn’t let anyone else touch his hair, he will cry and try and push away but here they let him have a little bit of time to adjust in the waiting room before cutting his hair. They even have a few board games for if its busy. Jimmy is the barber who we have been going to and he does such an amazing job, we dont leave with half of a haircut because the barber cant cope and we don’t get charged double because hes difficult. He gets on with it and he manages my child really well giving breaks if needed and showing him everything as he uses them. He sits so well for him and i haven't found anyone else at all that can manage to finish his hair. Fantastic service we wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you!

Jimmy is hands down one of the best barbers I’ve ever had. His attention to detail is second to none — you can tell he genuinely cares about the quality of his work and how you feel walking out of the chair. The atmosphere is always relaxed and welcoming, and Jimmy takes the time to understand exactly what you want while still offering expert advice if you’re unsure. He’s consistent, professional, and always up for a good chat. I wouldn’t go anywhere else — highly recommend!

Needed a last minute trim before I went away. Managed to book in with Logan and honestly one of the best trims I’ve had. I’ve moved to Leeds and I still keep coming back to Wakefield for this barber shop due to the nice atmosphere and staff. Key thing to note they also guide you on what products are best for your hair, which is something I’d have never thought to ask about.

Been coming here since I was a baby. I’m 25 now, Jimmy does a cracking job for me and has an ace sense of humour. All the staff are polite, well mannered, and brilliant at their job.

Went for my first haircut from them today. After I voiced that I have anxiety and autism to Logan him and the other male barber understood I needed a good laugh. They filled my time with hoovering hair off me, telling jokes and showing cool merch around the shop. Honestly 10/10. Not a bad price as well for nowadays. Definitley will be going back
