I would give it -10 if I could, this health centre is absolutely horrible, and horrific I can’t believe it’s still open. They are rude to you, don’t get me started on the receptionists, I said my mum needs the injection ASAP because my mum was bleeding extremely heavily and was in pain and the receptionist said “No you don’t need it now” Like EXCUSE you! Are you the one bleeding?!! Absolutely disgusting, they are rude to you, they don’t even listen properly to patients needs, one doctor said “don’t overthink it” next moment on the same day my mum was phoned for a iron infusion from hospital due to blood tests. Absolutely disgusting, they talk to you like you’re some idiot, they also need proper doctors who can actually help their patients. The receptionist even lied saying that I’ve called regarding a depo injection when I was clearly talking about a postal injection not to mention all calls are recorded

This practice is appalling. I’m not sure if the gps are part time but I can never get an appointment. They use an NHS internal system where medical professionals are supposed to communicate with each other, however I ended up having my stent procedure delayed significantly as they advised they’d not received correspondence when it was very clear they had. It took the consultants secretary at LGI to contact them directly before they admitted they’d got it wrong whilst my condition deteriorated rapidly at this time. One of the GPs didn’t read a simple report properly and as a result, until I managed to get an appointment with an advanced nurse practitioner, I put up with months of pain. I was then unable to get the right pain medication as 2 gps disagreed with each other leaving me unable to sleep for weeks and function properly. My works occupational health were disgusted and so was my heart consultant. To be fair to the I’ve found receptionists Julie and Kay very helpful and appreciate they’re up against it. The ANP and nurse who takes bloods are lovely but if you have the misfortune to get one of their colleagues, who is a receptionist, she’s rude, dismissive, obstructive and has even been sarcastic towards me. When I challenged her about this politely, rather than apologise, she said that everyone has off days but she seems to be having an off day every time I’ve been unfortunate enough to speak to her. The practise is poorly run and managed in my opinion and despite writing a complaint to the practice manager several months ago, I’ve had no response. Following a heart procedure my consultant and rehab nurse used the system to tell them I need rigorous checks including regular bloods. This was in January and I had bloods taken yesterday at a different surgery as they didn’t have an appointment until May. If you have any serious ailments avoid this surgery at all costs. I very rarely complain and please see my review of LGI and others if you’re in any doubt as they’re great but I feel this surgery are negligent at best.

I wish I could give this surgery 0 stars. This is by far the worst GP surgery I've ever experienced and I've been working in healthcare for over 10 years. From the basic things; there is maybe one doctor who works part time, surgery manager isn't actively involved either. It's run by unprofessional staff. Every visit is guaranteed to disappoint you, for example basic things such as managing prescriptions, unaware of where they have misplaced their surgery stamp for important documents etc. This branch needs a formal review and complaints procedure. The midwife is good and the only positive. Not had any experience with the ANPs so cannot comment. Look elsewhere to register.

Very rude nurse who took my father's bloods today! She couldn't find the vein for ages and when my dad (72 years of age) pointed one out, she told him to take the bloods himself in sarcastic manner. Thoroughly unprofessional.

A very terrible experience that left me emotional to the point of tears and thinking of changing GP surgery ASAP . I asked for just an extension of my sick note after a GP review and was told for nearly a week now that only one doctor issues the sicknote and the doctor is not around and when I asked when this doctor will be around to sign it , receptionist said she has no idea when it will be done . Also till now I m awaiting log in details to my patient access info despite filling the form. This has put me in a mess with my job. This is a Very ridiculous response from the admin team that only one doctor in the whole of that practice issues sick notes????
