Very recently purchased a property via MS and was very impressed. Ellie (Crowder) sorted everything out for us, nothing was a problem and did everything she promised.. definitely felt like she went above and beyond. I then met the other staff yesterday when picking up the keys and again they were lovely as well as professional. I felt like the purchase went seamlessly and very quick and I’m quite sure the seller who had chosen MS felt the same after speaking to him. Also thank you to Ann Rinnington who also helped and moved the process along. Well done and thank you again all at Manning Stainton (Wakefield). Oh and thanks for the lovely goodie bag. A very nice touch ❤️❤️. Would 100% recommend you!!

Having recently completed a particularly challenging sale with Mannings Wakefield. I’d just like to thank Georgie and Harry for their commitment and professionalism in getting this over the line in just over 8 weeks, including the Christmas/ New Year break!....constant communication to keep buyer and seller aligned along with chasing of solicitors kept everything on track. Great to see an agent go above and beyond.

Made a booking to view this house , had 1 SMS text to confirm on the day we made the call and then a call an hour before to make sure we are still coming . Travelled 45 minutes to get to the house viewing … to find nobody was there , house was empty . Called the store 15 minutes after as they might of been late to be told “oh your viewer Carl had gone AWOL and not answering his phone so we will have to cancel you viewing and we’re not sure when we can fit you in next” devastated to face this as a first time buyer - has left a sour taste in my mouth as to be called confirming our viewing an hour before but then have to chase them up against to be told nobody’s coming and they’re sorry. I would avoid at all costs and wouldn’t recommend for any buyer especially a first time buyer who’s excited to take a next step in buying a home and faced what we did today.

Poor communication / dishonesty. Semi salvaged by branch manager Lee. Inaccurate information has been given to me from start to finish by various staff members. E.g. “vendor will take £350k” the next day “vendor won’t entertain any offers below £360k”. A lack of communication is also an issue. Offers were made with no feedback until I called the branch. After my latest offer was seemingly ignored by the branch, I wrote a review on trust pilot. Branch manager Lee called me to discuss (which was good of him). He took the time to inform me that the house wasn’t advertised £100k over the market value to deceive people (see previous review) it was actually to test the market. This insight was very useful in understanding how MS operate). Eventually he did inform me that my offer wasn’t accepted and that the vendor was in receipt of significantly higher offers. Whilst not ideal, at least I now know where I stand, as previously the staff member had advised me that my offer of £330k was good as It’s cash. I would have gone higher and not wasted anyone’s time had I known the vendor was sitting on a better offer. Regardless, I now know the best way to get hold of MS is via these means. Still interested in the property.

Excellent support and professional attitude. Really helped with the stress of selling. Chloe has helped by knowing our case and keeping us posted about everything. Never seemed a trouble and such a positive attitude on the phone. Good to have real people helping us it’s such an important process. Chloe is an absolute credit to Manning Stainton thank you
