Co-op Funeralcare, Horbury Road

To start, 5 stars is really nowhere near enough, as Rebecca and the team went above and beyond to make sure my father's funeral went without a hitch. From planning to the actual day, we could not have asked for better. The utmost respect was shown to my father in all aspects of the planning, and Rebecca was an absolute godsend. I cannot recommend the CO-OP and Rebecca highly enough and no words will ever be able to express the gratitude all of the family has for sending my dad off in a beautiful and respectful way

When someone dies it’s the worst time of your life and you need someone to hold your hand to guide you through the funeral process. I really felt that Rebecca Stead, Funeral Director, did that for me following the death of my lovely dad, John. From the Church to the Crematorium, Rebecca organised everything. She spoke to the Priest to organise the church service and, as my dad had been a paratrooper during the war, she arranged for the Military side of the funeral at the Crematorium. Veterans and Standard Bearers attended; dad’s coffin was draped in the Union Flag and Parachute Regimental Flag; and the bugler played the last post. The week of my dad’s funeral, there were road works on our road. Rebecca went and checked it out the day before and asked the workmen to stop working when dad’s hearse drove up the road. I thank her and the men. My dad had chosen the Co-op Funeral Care at Horbury for his funeral after they had so beautifully cared for his sister Sylvia’s funeral in 2021, under the care of Devon, the Funeral Director. I will be returning in the future to take advantage of one of the funeral plans for my own funeral. Thank you Rebecca, Hannah, Amy and all the rest of the team whose names I don’t know but who contributed so much. Goodnight lovely Dad. Thank you, Jacqueline Robson.

ALL members of staff were attentive sympathetic and made sure every detail and request was adhered too. I had regular updates as well as expert advise offered regularly Becky was amazing so caring and genuinely a warm welcoming presence each occasion i saw her and spoke to her x Roger the Celebrant visited me at home to get a " feel " and an experience of my loved one - he also spoke as if he knew my brother and his comments were accurate and caring My brother Dave his Spirit will have loved the service. I wouldn`t hesitate in using the company again THANK YOU - COOP and all the staff from the limousine drivers to the funeral staff. Hannah such a friendly presence x - especially ROGER and BECKY ( AMAZING ) THANK YOU - SO SO MUCH PETER & DAVE

AN AMAZING SERVICE PROVIDED BY REBECCA AND HER TEAM EVERYTHING RAN SMOOTHLY AND THE CELEBRANT WE HAD NIKKI WAS AMAZING HER ENTHUSIASM AND HER WORDS ABOUT MY MUM WERE WORD PERFECT AND SPOKEN FROM THE HEART TOO.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND CO OP FUNERAL CARE TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE NOTHING IS TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR THEM MANY THANKS AGAIN TO NIKKI AND REBECCA FOR A JOB WELL DONE.

Cannot recommend nor thank Horbury Road Funeralcare enough. They have been there for me & my family every step of the way and cared for my Mum with dignity & respect. Rebecca, Hannah & Jessica have always been approachable & willing to help get everything right not only with arranging the funeral but also the aftercare has been exceptional. Nothing has been too much trouble and I will never forget all the kindness, compassion & support that has meant so much to me at the most difficult time of my life.
