Wakefield Funeral Services went above and beyond our expectations during an incredibly difficult year. After losing both my Mum and Dad, they supported us with such care, dignity, and respect. Everything was handled perfectly, and their compassion truly helped ease our stress and worry. We’re so grateful for the way they looked after our family — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Me and my family can't thank everyone at Wakefield funeral services enough for organising everything for my Nan's funeral. Joan got everything ready so easily for us, she's amazing at her job, everything was beautiful. Jayden was a very respectful and professional funeral director on the day, we couldn't have asked for or imagined a nicer send off. I'd definitely recommend them should you need a kind, respectful and professional funeral arranging. Many thanks again from all of us.
Joan spent time explaining everything clearly and ensuring our wishes were met. She recommended a Celebrant and helped us with the music we wanted for the service. On the day of the funeral all the staff treated us with dignity and ensured that everything went smoothly.
Excellent service, Joan was very professional all the way through the funeral arrangements. Special mention to the gentleman leading the procession, he was exemplary in the tribute for Dad, stopping the hearse and standing at the end of Dads street as a mark of respect, very professional indeed. Also a mention to the pallbearers and limousine driver. 👍👍
A deep felt thanks to Barry and Joan for arranging my step dad's funeral. We approached Wakefield Funeral Services from the reviews below mine, we were lost, didn't know what to do and experiencing all things a family goes through after losing a loved one. Barry was so compassionate and visited our home at every stage of the process, even to run the small things by us. He explained the process with due care and diligence, was patient and almost felt like a long lost friend of the family. There was nothing he wouldn't do for us. Everything from the viewing to the funeral procession was comforting, respectful and dignified. Barry also recommended Sarah Renton who conducted our beautiful service.
