Just had my timing chain and new clutch fitted. A true gentleman and amazing mechanics he's done a fantastic job, and his prices were fantastic saving me over £2000 compared to dealer prices. Definitely will use again Highly recommend.

After taking my highly modified car to another garage for a full health check as I was concerned there was a problem due to a strange noise it was making. I was told there were no problems and they couldn't hear the noise I had mentioned, and it was safe to drive. I didn't believe what they told me so I began searching for another garage for a second opinion. After some research and recommendations from friends I decided to try PJ Autos. After speaking to Paul I asked if he could thoroughly check my car for faults.He opened the bonnet while I was there and instantly spotted a problem regarding the coolant system and pipework which he showed me. He said I was extremely lucky my coolant pipe hadn't come off when I was driving as there was no clips holding it in place. I left my car with Paul and later that day he called me and explained in detail what he had found wrong with it. It turned out my cam belt was badly cracked and needed changing as well as the water pump and fan belt, also the coolant system needed flushing. When I arrived Paul took some of the coolant out of my car and showed me that it was full of rust, he explained the process needed to flush the system and refill it. I was also advised it would be safer not to drive my car until it had been fixed. I agreed and decided once I got home I wouldn't use it. I booked my car back in to be repaired and he explained the cost of the work for each repair and then the total. The price's were very fair and I was impressed with how thoroughly my car had been checked and the genuine honesty I could sense from Paul. He even fixed some little things he noticed while it was in for repairs like the grill on the front of my car was loose, the bolts were replaced also they realigned the exhaust tips as one was sticking out and the other wasn't which had been bugging me for a while.He's the kinda guy who treats each car like he would his own which is rare these days. Overall I can't rate this garage highly enough. If you want your car to be genuinely looked after and repaired at a fair price I doubt you'd find a better garage to take your vehicle. 👌😄

Phoned Paul to see if he could get my Toyota in for its brakes seeing to ahead of a trip at the end of the week. He managed to squeeze me in and has done a fantastic job for me at a fraction of the price Leeds Toyota quoted me. Would highly recommend, very friendly guy and didn’t talk down to me (yes, it still happens at some garages!). Thank you so much

Had a huge job after getting scammed by a dodgy car dealer. The work PJ done was great, they even seemed to have fixed a knock I had and didn’t raise to them and they even cleaned my engine bay. Highly recommend

Called this mechanic in a time of need to politely ask for a quote on a clutch replacement. His response? “A clutch on what—a lawnmower or tractor ?” Completely uncalled for, dismissive, and rude. I ended the call immediately. Wouldn’t trust someone with that attitude to touch my car.
