went to medlocks for my hair fixing after a box dye disaster. I couldn’t be happier, i got exactly what i wanted and it was even better then i expected i love my new hair and the girls were such vibes.

So I decided to “give in to the grey”. Spent a few years trying to disguise the salt n pepper look by having highlights …. Didn’t seem to work for very long. Then I came across Elise and she did exactly as I asked her to… introduce a grey highlight into my naturally dark brown hair. She was so lovely, patient and thorough and did an amazing job. I feel much more like me. I’m so pleased I won’t need to worry about the new growth. From brassy to ashy to classy 👏👍🫶

In love with how my hair turned out, the service was lovely, so kind and chatty. Im a very sociably awkward person and the staff, especially shaunie, brought me right out my shell. Would definitely recommend, i went in with damaged, box dyed for years hair, and came out with exactly what i wanted somehow in great condition. Would definitely return!

The salon is absolutely lovely, super clean and beautifully decorated, all thanks to Elise. My haircut with her was fantastic. I wanted shorter bangs to frame my face, which she cut perfectly, and even though Elise hadn’t worked with dreadlocks before, she was so gentle and careful with my half head of dreads. She never once pulled on my dreads or hurt my scalp, and when I asked her to wash only my loose hair without wetting the dreads, she did it brilliantly. She also made sure my dreads matched the length of my haircut so my whole hairstyle blended together perfectly. On top of that, I have several ear piercings that often get snagged during haircuts, but Elise didn’t catch them once — a first for me! I was really impressed with the whole experience at Medlocks and will definitely be returning. The prices are fantastic too. Thank you so much, Elise!

I recently started coming here and have had such a lovely experience so far! Elise has been amazing she’s very friendly and takes the time to explain everything clearly so you know exactly what to expect. She’s helping me go lighter gradually to blend my grey hairs, which makes the process feel comfortable and not overwhelming. The salon itself is very spacious and has a really relaxing, welcoming environment, which makes the whole visit even nicer. I really appreciate how Elise makes sure I’m happy at each step. I’m looking forward to continuing the journey to lighter hair and making my greys more manageable. Highly recommend!
