Hopeless, didn’t have one of my medications when I was sent a text message to collect so I was told they would let me know when they have got it in stock. A month later when I phoned to find out if they had my missing medication I was told that because it wasn’t collected within 3 weeks it has been returned and I will need a new prescription from my doctor. When I questioned the person on the phone why you didn’t let me know as I was told that is what you would do. She started by telling me that for start it wasn’t me and then keep your voice down. I told her when I say “you” this is to her organisation as she is on the call so she represents the firm. I did not raise my voice but had to keep repeating myself as she was not listening to what I was trying to say and kept repeating herself. I didn’t make it personal as I do not know her and this was towards your organisation which I will not be using again.
Well Pharmacy shares a car park with New Southgate GP surgery. It is usually easy to park. It seems convenient because it’s right by the GP, but it takes a while for Doctors to send across the electronic prescriptions and for the Pharmacy to make it up. Some times a day or two. There are often people who go into the pharmacy straight from a GP consult expecting their medication to be waiting for them. It doesn’t work like that. If you catch them at a time when there is no queue, staff will often run around to make up an urgent prescription, even going across to the doctors to sort out queries, but they aren’t always able to. Also bear in mind it is closed at weekends, so it is really busy on Friday afternoon.
Collected my urgent prescription which took 5 days to dispense. I think the pharmacist tried his best, but his support workers appear not to care. Line of patients and one member of staff announces she’s just going outside to take a (private) call. I see her as I come out, slumped against the wall texting. Absolute zero professionalism and patient-centred care
If i could give no stars I would ,my percriptions getting changed to you from my nominated pharmacy then not getting them for days as I don't know where they are, when I asked you to send them , putting the phone down on me , make know wonder people choose a different one !
They don't answer the phone, the one time I managed to get through to them the female just abruptly said HELLO. I have been trying to chase my 79 year old mother in laws medication which they have had the prescription for a week, she trailed up herself just to be told they didn't have them in stock, she has completely run out and needs them. Will have to keep trying to phone them so we don't have to trail for nothing. Shocking!
