I have been sat looking at my Royal Mail live tracking every 5 minutes for the past hour waiting for my parcel. It showed they were on the street next to my house 20 seconds away and then all of a sudden I check again and it says they can’t deliver due to ‘inaccessibility reasons’ which is a complete lie. My street is completely accessible and I have been home all day. No excuse for it not to be delivered. I am furious, I’ve been waiting for this parcel all day and needed it for tomorrow. Not happy, will be phoning tomorrow and finding out what’s going on. I appreciate sometimes it’s hard due to short staffing however no need to lie. Could’ve been dropped at my local post office.
Ridiculously short opening times for a major sorting office. Would be good to add to the card you put through the door that you are only open 4 hours a day as didn’t expect it to be closed at 3pm and having battled the terrible traffic around there had made the 30 min journey for nothing. If you’re not going to be open why not leave the package at a local Postoffice as having to take time off work to collect something is effectively another fee on top of the postage paid.
Multiple times they folded and placed IMPORTANT documents in letter box when the parcel says "do not safe place" & "DO NOT FOLD" did not even attempt to ring doorbell. Multiple deliveries to wrong address and place the burden on customer to go house to house just to find a lost parcel.
Got a card through last week about sender not paying correct postage, fair enough paid it , rebooked delivery for Thursday 11th , still waiting!! Can’t track it , apps useless tried phoning several times to get user busy! Joke
Moved from Leeds to Ledston, the postal service in these remote locations are abominable, no post or parcels for weeks. Thought out here it would be a tad late, but not to the point of non existence. Management need to employ seasonal workers at this time of the year (xmas), not concentrate on parcels as they are more lucrative then letters. Yet another service broken in Bleaky Blighty through GREED!!!
