Do not send anything to this post office if it’s not local collect as they will refuse to take it. I Totally understand and It was our mistake. But I’m certain they know what will happen to the parcel. They know for a fact it might not go back to the sender. But still they refused. Now a valuable item is gone. We lost it and no one in post office cares. Contact number they have on their wall do not pick up. Felt helpless. They wont even look into it and left you deal with the situation on your own. 0/5 stars
What can i say used machine for stamps paid for them nothing came out spoke nicely to lady behind counter she stormed out with attitude was rude if these people can't be bothered don't do customer facing jobs manners cost nothing I remember when post offices had proper staff that wanted to do the job I'm not from Wakefield if she's anything to go by I won't be returning in a hurry
This post office is on my way home from work. I have tried to use it twice before and each time it closed early before I got there. Today, yet again, closed at 3.30pm when it should be 5.30pm. The poor woman in the attached shop was taking the flack for the utterly useless post office, so not only do the Post Office not care about their customers, the show a complete disregard and disrespect for those with whom they share premises.
I needed to update my passport and thought I'd use the check and send. The website was poor for saying whether an appointment would be required however when I popped in they said they needed an appointment, so I made one. When I went for my appointment they didn't even seem to matter as I was dealt with in the same manner as a queuing customer. The post office clerk was lovely but the passport photo was taken in a dimly lit corner with an iPad. They did say when they took it, if it wasn't approved I could pop in again and have it retaken for free. Low and behold the passport office rejected the photo. Rather than go in again I just decided to go a photobooth. I can't fault the staff they were really pleasant on both occasions and very professional, but the appointment process and the sub standard way of taking photos is poor.
Just had my driving license re-newed and I didn`t unfornatly get her name. However the lady at Trinity Walk Shopping Centre Post Office, thank you kindly for all your help. I was at a wits end due to being the only place that does Licenses in my area and she was understanding and all I had to was take my photo and pay. I hope this message gets to her and she has my up most appreciation!. Thank you and again thank you!!.
