Excellent selection of new-ish books, if you'd like someone to recommend books to you for a particular genre you can't go wrong really, plus a good selection of herb plants for one's delectation. 5 stars all day long
I came across this little gem of a shop as I drove by ! Selling two of my favourite things.... Books and plants! I bought gorgeous books for my sister, friend and grandchildren, and beautiful greetings cards and wrapping paper.
Lovely little bookshop, and herb shop, great selection of books, local, Yorkshire and interesting. Helpful owner, supportive of the local community. And nice log stove in winter! Do visit!
Fabulous independent selling a great selection of books. Sandra the owner is just so enthusiastic and loves to support other independent outlets. You are spoilt for choice, wrapping paper, notelets, books, candles and can sit and enjoy tea/coffee and sometimes cake. The outside has a good selection of healthy herbs for sale too. Lovely environment set in the village of Walton, Wakefield.
What a lovely little shop, full with books suitable for all ages and interests. Bought two books and will be back. The lady who owns it was super friendly. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
