Dulux Decorator Centre

I used this place a lot in 2012, staff good & paint excellent. I bought some more paint in 2024, exactly same as the previous one, in 2012. Which a decorator put on for me, last year. But after a while the eggshell started slipping. I have just tried redoing the room after washing, with sugar soap, very lightly sanding the walls, and putting a coat of white on first. The paint still not gone on well. In conclusion sorry but the worst paint I have ever used this time.

Very helpful staff, I'd been elsewhere and gotten some paint and been ill informed. I thought it was my painting skills that were initially at fault. I spoke to someone called Richard who gave me some advice on my paint choices and I went ahead dubious of whether it would come out the same. Thankfully I listened to Richard and it came out amazingly. Covered up all the previous work only needed one coat as well which I was very surprised about. Gave me back some faith in my painting skills haha. Also dealt with a lady called Louise who was very helpful as well.

Louise is an absolute asset to the company and has shown her level of knowledge to be outstanding. Helped us get an issue resolved that we was told by other suppliers wasn’t possible. Really good communication through the whole order process. Will always order from DDC Wakefield. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Staff don't seem to know what they are doing. Charged me twice for some paint and can't figure out how to do a refund. Even after customer services explained it to them. Ive now been waiting over two weeks and they still can't figure it out.

Fabulous service at this branch today, unlike the Pontefract branch. The gentleman who served me was friendly, extremely helpful, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Sorry I didn’t get your name! Left the shop with exactly what I wanted. Customer service second to none. Listen and learn Pontefract branch!!
