Absolutely amazing shop, incredible range of items and a wonderful owner! The opening times on Google were wrong (it stated half 5 but it was only open until 5) but he happily stayed open to let my partner and I look around due to the mix up. We will definitely be back in the future!
We bought a few pieces of furniture from Declan's and had a great experience. He sold us a couple sets of drawers and a lamp at really reasonable prices, and Declan himself is a lovely man. We couldn't fit the second set of drawers in the car so he delivered it to our house in Huddersfield free of charge. Declan will be our first stop if we're on the look out for any more furniture.
A real treasure trove of furniture and vintage/antique items. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful, really friendly and clearly has a passion for what he does. Having read other reviews, yes the store is packed and there is only one narrow pathway in/out but anyone who goes antiquing knows that this is commonplace amongst these kind of stores. The rummaging is part of the fun! Will definitely be visiting again.
This "shop" is a genuine hazard. You can't physically find anything you may be interested in buying through fear of the furniture collapsing when you touch them. You have to sidestep through the shop around all of the clutter and unkempt second hand furniture.
Absolute death trap, nothing in any order, all piled up everywhere, trip hazards galore. I doubt that the health and safety dept or fire safety dept would let it stay open, if there were a fire in there you be hard pressed to get.out safely.
