Beautiful store with a friendly, amazing & hard working team! Lots of lovely things for sale while supporting a fantastic cause! I am slightly biased as they are our work neighbours but being honest!!! I bought a beautiful blouse from them the other day & will certainly be back for more! 😁💚✌️
Volunteering at the Wakefield Mencap charity shop has been such a wonderful experience. The whole team does truly amazing work and the effort that goes into supporting the charity really shines through every day. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and supportive – you always feel part of something special the moment you walk through the door. There are also lots of different jobs you can get involved with around the shop, so there’s always something to suit everyone’s skills and interests. I would 100% recommend anyone who is thinking about volunteering to get involved here. It’s not just about giving back, it’s about being part of a caring community where you can make a difference and feel valued. A fantastic place to volunteer and a truly inspiring team!
This charity shop is the most welcoming in Wakefield centre! Friendly staff always polite and with a smile making you feel comfortable even if you re just looking around . Great variety in an organised order and very good prices. A perfect place to get your new outfits helping the environment and such a good cause at the same time 🙏🏼🤗
The prices were pretty steep, and people seemed uninterested, while the shop was a bit messy. Peacocks T-shirts priced at 5, Primark for 6. It's quite pricey! The bric wall is bare, offering a limited selection compared to other charity stores, and the layout is confusing
great charity shop. volunteers were very friendly and helpful. found a lovely dress for a very cheap price of £7! bargain. had a lovely conversation with two volunteers called lindsey and claire on the till and got help with the price on some items with no tags by andy as it didn't have one. very happy with the shop and will be coming back
