Marygate by Deuce Hotels Ltd

We stayed here for two nights. Unfortunately, both nights were very noisy. There was loud shouting in the corridor on our floor and in the neighboring room, banging sounds, and a woman crying, which was very disturbing and made us feel unsafe. When we called the hotel reception and asked for intervention, no one came to address the situation. This was especially disappointing, as we stayed here last year and everything was quiet and pleasant. The apartment itself is nice and has potential, but the noise and lack of response significantly affected our stay.

The actual apartment was very clean, comfy and tidy. Good tv and wifi, cleaned daily. Very central for everything. Only downside was the extremely loud music coming from the nearby pub making it impossible to sleep until way after midnight.

Amazing find in the centre of town, fabulous location dor all of the bats and restaurants plus close to the station. Nice clean rooms. Could do with king sized beds rather than doubles.

On the whole the apartment was good value and plenty of space for the money. Could have done with at least one more towel and found it strange there was only one be dside light in a double room. There's a concrete overhang on the stairs that needs painting or padding as we both hit our heads on the way up. The double glazing kept it quiet, we probably would stay again if we were visiting Wakefield

Really very, very good. The room was clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable. I used it for a night out and the location on Westgate was perfect for that. The kitchen area was a welcome bonus, and if you are looking to stay for a longer period has everything you need to make fresh cooked meals. I only had two caveats; the outside of the building and the stairwell don’t look particularly inviting and need a thorough facelift, and the plug sockets in the rooms don’t have inbuilt usb ports so you will need to bring an adaptor. These are minor quibbles though, and I can really recommend the accommodations. I will likely use them again.
