We enjoyed a lovely night at this hotel. We have been many times in the past few years. The hotel is lovely & bright & very welcoming, the staff are very friendly & helpful, we had a great waitress this time, Emma, nothing was too much trouble for her. The room had just been decorated & the housekeeping is first class with beautiful thick soft bath sheets & toiletries. Overall a great stay, as usual for this hotel, & we will continue to return.
We had a spa and afternoon tea experience today. We had a lovely time. Paul and Harry couldn't do enough to help. The pool facilities are clean and not too busy. The afternoon tea was lovely. Plenty of variety and we were left very full. We would recommend this to anyone looking for an afternoon filled with good food and nice surroundings in need of relaxation
We have been today the 8th of May. Absolutely fantastic service from Paul in the spa, we have been before so knew where everything was. Lovely time in the pool and jacuzzi and not overcrowded. We had a afternoon tea booked after and they brought the time forward for us as we requested with no problem at all. We were served promptly by Paul again who asked if we had enjoyed the spa, which we had. Gorgeous food and choice of sandwiches and cakes. Absolutely spot on. Well worth a visit.
Went to one of the events, dancing through the decades. Brilliant. Downstairs bar staff were a bit slow but the bar snacks were excellent. The onion rings 🤗 yum yum. The meal was very good, really enjoyed it. I didn't like the dessert, as it was chocolate mousse or something similar. Not their fault I don't like chocolate flavored desserts. You have to pay for parking, that's way they lost a star. I've just paid for a room, a meal, the entertainment, lots of drinks and then I have to pay to park😤 Room was very clean and comfortable, slept like a log. ( That could have been all the alcohol) Definitely recommend it especially the themed nights. Sort out the parking charges though!
I had a spa & afternoon tea. The facilities are fine & all clean. Nice sauna & steam room & jacuzzi. The staff were great - really friendly & helpful. Thankyou Harry for being so lovely! The food was really spot on! Delish. X
