Stopped off here yesterday to break up our trip south. Received the warmest of welcomes by the owners and sat and ate in their lovely potted flower garden. The food was also excellent - and the owners made a great effort to ensure we were well looked after. You can tell they take a pride in their business and we would highly recommend a visit here. We hope to return to use the B&B facility in the near future, so that we can explore more of this lovely town.

Had toasties and tea here. Nice outdoor seating. Cost £24 between two of us, had two toasties and pot of tea. Freshly made toasties and nice earl grey.

Pateley Bridge is a magical little cute village, where 'the simple life' can be found. Wildlife, rivers, open fields and sheep, with amazing flapjack, bread rolls and pies. What's not to love? But where to stay? There are a few different choices. Not any more. You want to stay here. Not just because the parking is easy, you're right on the village and the breakfasts are INSANE PERFECTION. Not because they have delicious cakes and drinks downstairs in the cute cafe, or excellent WiFi and peaceful beautifully thought out bedrooms that feel so relaxing. But because they are really nice people. And the price is super reasonable for all of this too. But hey, it's totally up to you. Thankyou Talbot House for doing a B&B beautifully!
