We had a reservation for four adults yesterday to celebrate a birthday, and we were all very pleased with both the food and the service. We ordered three steaks and a chili con carne, all of which were cooked perfectly. It's wonderful that if you order drinks to your table, you receive a discount, as it means you don't have to move. Although it was quite busy, we did not have to wait long at all. Kurt was very accommodating; he kindly moved us to a table away from a children's party on the other side. Regardless of how busy they are, everyone works diligently, and service is always delivered with a smile. The pub itself is lovely and warm, and we appreciate that it now has two distinct areas: one for dining and another for socializing and sports.
Devon was very friendly and polite from the start. The pub is not the closest but me and the wife regard it as our local because of the relaxed atmosphere. The food is of a high standard everytime we have something here. We dont have a dog anymore but we still like dog friendly pubs.
Great refurb, like the idea of splitting into two areas. You guys really need to sort the ‘out’ door on the kitchen, the constant bang every 30 seconds is a pity, especially for SEN families.
Me and my better half really enjoyed our time at the blue bell inn, fantastic food, a perfectly pulled pint and the wonderful service from Curtis made our time much more delightful!
Great atmosphere very homely feel Curtis goes above and beyond & The staff are lovely even though it was really busy we still was served very fast and staff still asked if we needed anything. Would 100% recommend to anyone great little pub
