The Dearnesman

Our friends held their wedding reception here in the Function Room. It was perfect, the room looked lovely once it had been "dressed" for the occasion. The landlords were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. As well as the room, we had access to a private outdoor area with plenty of wooden picnic tables to the rear of the pub. The pub has no kitchen and our friends did their own catering, setting up a BBQ. The DJ did a fantastic job and we danced all night!

Since under new management I must say The Dearnesman is clean and is a safe environment to let your hair down. The bar staff are great and so is the new manager.

We didn't have any food apart from crisps, but the person that served me was very polite and friendly and it was a good pint and reasonable priced

Lovely meal and very helpful staff with regards to ensuring the food was gluten free. Definitely a place to go... freshly cooked food and excellent presentation and friendly staff.
