Melton Fish Bar

After a wait for my food the staff were apologetic - but im a regular here and the food is worth the wait! Its always fresh and hot served with care and attention. The shop is clean and tidy too. On street parking.

Small chips and kebab meat. Absolutely disgusting. Chips looked and tasted like they were cooked at dinner time not evening. Kebab meat was worst ever tasted, took the journey there as usually the best. Never again.

Got a fish today and it smelt like bleach or some kind of ammonia. My mum said hers was really bitter. Could be the oil that it wasn’t fresh but put me off going back

Excellent value, lovely fresh fish and crisp chips. The gravy was just the correct thickness and tasted lovely. Highly recommend.

Great food! Fast efficient service. Staff are really friendly, nice and helpful. Recommended chippy. They have lots of other kebab type stuff, too, but we were in for traditional chippy food It's not a slur giving 3 stars on the atmosphere cos ... It's a takeaway, so you order, queue n leave...soooo?
