Manvers recently stripped back their opening times to a couple of hours on weekday mornings. They used to open late at least one evening a week so that folk who work could reclaim undelivered parcels. Since CEO Daniel Kretin bought out RM in 2025 it's gone from bad to worse, a shadow of itself, and is next to useless if you actually need to receive a parcel after 10 am.
Get at least 4-5 parcels a year delivered to my house by mistake,when they should be at a similar address 5 miles away. Totally different Postcode.
Good customer service and easy to locate. No space for cars to park to then go and collect ones item(s). Avoid visiting when its 15min to closure, you might struggle to park around.
Parcels delivered to my wheelie bin and then stolen, still delivered there even when I've asked them not to. Parcels always late. Latest parcel (a vinyl record) has been delivered in such a poor state it looks like its been used for football practice. While I'm reviewing the sorting office my disdain extends to RM as a whole, worst delivery company, I wish sellers wouldnt use them. EDIT: Since this review I have moved and arranged redirection to my new address, for TWO WEEKS they haven't even attempted to redirect my mail. Contact centre confirmed everything is set up correctly so my mail should be coming to my new address. Complained, they contacted delivery office who advise my mail would now be redirected, next day they try to deliver a parcel to my OLD ADDRESS! I didn't bother changing pre ordered items with old address as I thought they would just get picked up in redirection - what a mistake! Another complaint has been logged but I don't expect the situation will change. Complete waste of money paying for redirection and really stressful. Hands down the WORST RM delivery office I've dealt with and I've lived in a lot of different places. To add while my initially review berates RM as a whole in this situation I cannot fault the contact centre.
The elderly chap at the counter is abrupt and rude, seems like heβs always having a bad day or maybe just dislikes communicating to people in a civil manner. Purposely being a nuisance with proof of name and address when I always provided my ID to him. Parking is shocking so I just enter the employees car park. Other than that the post office is in a fairly reasonable location and the service is okay.
