I've visited the YSP numerous times in the last 8 years, but only found this yesterday. And what a find! I actually gasped as I walked round the back to find this tranquil seating space.. I was able to spend 10 minutes with my own thoughts before other visitors arrived. Go and check it out.

The most relaxing space outside a spa, worth going to.

Very quiet, secluded spot, with a viewing bench looking out to the south. Inside, a quiet space, where you can gaze upon the sky and wonder. I don't suppose it'd be much fun when it's raining, though.

Amazing experience, I'm very fortunate to live just round the corner from YSP and what a fantastic place it is. The James turrell (deer shelter skyspace) is a mind bending experience having been in during the day not fully understanding it I would suggest doing the museum's at night event for the true affect it is amazing value for money honestly if you can go then do not think twice and book it before it's sold out you can thank me later πŸ‘πŸ‘€

James Turrell's Skyspace is in an 18th century Grade 2 listed building. I have visited YSP many, many times over the years but this was the first time I was aware of this.... dohhhh! I think many folk bypass it - I had been doing! Worth visiting.
