Cottages at The Grange

Another fabulous stay at The Grange, this time in one of the self-catering cottages, The Stables. This is a big, well-equipped and comfortable two bedroom cottage with a wood-burning stove for added cosiness. It's beautifully decorated and the kitchen is full of practical equipment. West Burton is a fantastic location for exploring Wensleydale and surrounding areas. You can go for many walks directly from the house. The village has a marvellous butcher, Mr Hartle, a small shop and a pub. There is masses to do in the local area for anyone who enjoys walking, eating, country towns, crafts, cycling, cheese (of course), castles, waterfalls and just being in God's own county. The Grange is a great find, so comfortable, interesting and unusual. I just love visiting and have stayed in all the B&B rooms over the years. It's amazing value and I recommend that you lace up your walking boots and set of as soon as you can.

We had a lovely weekend staying in The Coach House at the Grange. It is a comfortable property equipped with everything you need and in a great location. West Burton is lovely village and the waterfall was in full flow after heavy rain.

This cottage was beatiful with probably everything you would need in it. Parking right outside, bbq for guests to use, fishing rod for guests to borrow. Beautiful waterfalls close by, 2 minute walk to local pub with lovely views. Had a fantastic week and would definitely recommend.

Great place for travelling round the dales. Place was Great, stayed in The Stable cottage, friendly and helpful owner. Everything there that you would need. Waterfall on the doorstep, pub down the road. Will definitely be booking again!
