Flag Cottage

We just spent a week at this fabulous cottage in the picture postcard village of West Burton. The cottage was cosy and comfortable with all our needs catered for with quality furnishings throughout. A great base to explore from the door, both locally and across the Dales.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 What an absolute pleasure it's been staying at Flag Cottage last week. A beautiful home-from-home, cosy, comfortable 🏡 Quality furniture, fixtures, the bed was 'Scrumptious' along with the bedding. Congratulations to Jo, the housekeeper that keeps the Cottage immaculately clean & fresh smelling. The owners have thought about absolutely everything from luxurious complimentary toiletries, Fluffy towels, & even 'welcome pack' included treats for our pooch. All very much appreciated 🐾 Lovely garden, views both from garden & Cottage. The most delightful village I've ever seen, with it's own waterfall, pub, butcher, tearoom, shop & so many walks on the doorstep. It's amazing, so amazing just booked to return in September 🤩 Thank you for sharing your wonderful home 🏡 We just didn't want to come home...😊

Lovely cottage in a beautiful village. The cottage is very comfortable and very well equipped; a home away from home. Set in wonderful countryside with excellent walks from the village. The village cam meet your basic needs with a shop, butcher and pub and everyone is very friendly. Flag Cottage is well located with easy access to the sites and villages of the Yorkshire Dales.

Charming and very well appointed, Flag cottage is an ideal base for enjoying the Yorkshire Dales in a classic Dales village. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The cottage has a gorgeous garden with more than enough room to park a large family car (we have an SUV). There's a garden dining table and a lawn plus a fully-decked out shed including BBQ. Just three minutes walk from the local pub, shops and village park. Also provided is lots of really helpful information about local points of interest and things to do. We loved our stay.

We have visited this beautiful cottage 7 tlmes and consider it a home from home. It is cosy, well appointed with all amenities, and set in a lovely quiet village. There is an attractive gated and fenced garden that attracts birds we do not see at home. The Dales are a magnificent part of the world and there are tremendous views from the cottage. Our dogs absolutely love it too. The location affords easy access to the rest of the area. We regard this as a second home (if only the first resembled this!!!) and cannot recommend more highly. We have just returned from a further visit. As usual it was very relaxing and lifted our spirits, much needed when so much is going on that is awful. God bless our friends in Ukraine.
