Pry House Farm stands at the very head of Swaledale, 2 miles west of the tiny hamlet of Keld. The landscape is remote & rugged but breathtakingly beautiful, dotted with traditional field barns and criss-crossed with endless miles of dry stone walls. The skies are massive and the night sky magnificent. This is a landscape which is impossible to tire of; it constantly changes with the seasons, the light and the weather. Pry House faces the fell and is surrounded by traditional hay meadows & pasture. Wildlife is abundant here and Pry House is the perfect base for bird watching and observing all that nature has to offer.

Keld in Upper Swaledale is ideal cycling country being only a few miles from the Buttertubs Pass and the Tour de France 2014 cycle route along with many other on and off road cycle routes taking in neighbouring Wensleydale, Cumbria, Arkengarthdale & Teesdale. At Pry House Farm we offer secure cycle storage & bike washing facilities.

With many country roads, bridleways & public footpaths including the Coast to Coast and Pennine Way, accessible straight from the farmhouse door, a visit to Pry House Farm is a must for those looking to explore the dales by car or on foot.

A private staircase from the guest lounge leads guests to the king-size room and twin room making this annexe idea for families and couples. A proper Yorkshire breakfast using local sourced ingredients is served around the table in the farmhouse kitchen.
