Shepherd's Hut

Description

Come and experience a night in our traditionally themed shepherd's hut, nestled in a secluded, sheltered, riverside setting on our remote working hill farm at the head of Swaledale.

Regardless of the weather, you can look forward to a snug relaxing evening in our hut; for cold, wintry days there's plenty of fuel supplied for the woodburning stove, whereas warm evenings can be spent dipping your toes in the river whilst enjoying the peaceful quiet surroundings.

The hut sleeps two (2 singles) and the promise of a breakfast delivered to your door make this an overnight stay with a difference. Evening meals and packed lunches can be provided by prior arrangement.

A separate toilet and shower facility is situated 150 yards from the hut and all towels and bedding are provided. Please note that access to the hut is via a short walk across uneven ground.

You are guaranteed a warm welcome at Ravenseat and whether you seek peace and quiet or want to see what life on an upland farm is really like, we will do our utmost to make your stay as pleasant and memorable as possible.

The Shepherds hut is available from May until October.

Tariff: £30 per person per night, including breakfast.
