Popular with bird watchers, has several well built hides with glass viewing panels. Close to the Northerly Thornborough Henge now managed by English Heritage. See photos. No facilities other than small car park, decent pathways and hides. Has an 'ancient atmosphere '.

Despite the low water level a great spot for looking for birdlife. We'll appointed and maintained hides and good paths linking the areas. Make sure you take the detour to see the henge which is well signposted.
