Couldn't tell you how great this place is! Food is spectacular! The service is great and the overall atmosphere is amazing for a pub here. I can comfortably recommend the cheese and bacon burger because the patties are juicy and the bacon is some of the most flavourful I have had in a burger! And the onion rings on top are some of the biggest I have ever seen! The chips are crispy on the outside and very fluffy on the inside. As for the dessert, the chocolate brownie is fabulous with it not being too chocolaty and sweet but having the good balance and pairing very nicely with the ice cream! The presentation of the food is very nice and shows they put lots of effort into their food and have pride! All the food was hot and ready to eat as soon as you got it to your table. I will be coming back, an amazing place in an amazing area!
Horrible Sunday lunch. The worst we have had in a long time. It was boiled veg been stood a long time then warmed up. Awful taste. Meat overdone & cold. We all left most of it This was the only place we could get a table, maybe this was why.
Popped in for a quick lunch, cheese omelette and a small salmon. All cooked to perfection and speedily served. Lovely staff very welcoming. Will be back.
Lovely place the staff were very welcoming and the food was absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend 👌
Visited on a lunchtime a couple of weeks ago. Not been here for a number of years and the place is even better than i remember. I was assisted by the landlady to get the wheelchair in. Once in the place was easy to navigate. Drinks including real ales are really well kept and reasonably priced and the food is amazing. I had a liver and bacon dish with a thick onion gravy with steamed vegetables which looked and tasted beautiful. Unfortunately no room for a dessert. Very tasteful Xmad decorations and great staff make this a must return to place Returned this week and had a great meal. Homemade lasagne, salad and garlic bread. Amazing and very filling.
