Ordered takeaway and asked for Asian-style spicy but the curries were very mild and sweet more like British-style. The rice smelled off and wasn’t fresh, the chicken livers were bland, and the salad looked old and poorly packed. We couldn’t enjoy the food and ended up throwing most of it away. I understand tastes differ, but at least the spice level requested should’ve been followed. According to the bill, the server was Shayasta I don’t blame the server personally, but overall this was a very disappointing experience. Would not recommend for Asians looking for authentic or spicy food.
Probably one of the best restaurants in Wetherby. Food at our recent visit was better than it has been in the past too, so that's a bonus. The lamb tikka masala though was heavily laced with coconut and so sweet that it was.almost inedible. Drinks were well presented and suitably cold though the alcohol free beers range is limited to a choice of one. Service is always good and they're quick and polite. Parking is a nuisance as spaces are very limited and the car.park is shared with M&S and residents. Overall we can only hope it stays as good as it is or maybe even gets better.
We came in for a meal last night and we were so unbelievably impressed by the service.. The gentleman in the blue shirt couldn't have done more to make sure our experience was the best it could have possibly been, the food was gorgeous! they brought out birthday desert without being asked, made sure everyone's food was good, held door open for us as we left and shook our hands.. we could not have asked for more. We will be back!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I genuinely can't fault this place! From the warm and friendly welcome, the choice of food, the presentation, the taste, the service, the decor and the price, everything was spot on. I'd read reports that it was a little of the pricey side, but I felt it was on a par with our Indian restaurants. Definitely recommend trying, if in the area.
What can I say.... I had a terrific night, the food was the best I've had in a very long time and the staff were very cheerful - sometimes entertaining. Would not hesitate to 'highly' recommend trying out a meal here.
