Good place to eat. Very unique food with Mango Lassi in jug and real butter on the butter chicken. Bengali waiters were very nice would give him more stars if I could.

We have been here for a small holiday in York, but stay in the hotel at Wetherby for 3 days. We searched from Google and recommended this restaurant for the best Indian food. No wonder with those reviews. We came here for 2 days, so I would like to recommend who likes Indian food to come to this restaurant, you will definitely not be disappointed. Great food, good price, friendly staff and very delicious.

A by-chance visit, as the Days-Inn Wetherby services had leaflets on the reception desk. A quick Google review search made the decision to order a takeaway. So glad we did - the food was excellent. I had the Tandoori Butter Chicken which was awesome, creamy on top and a nice medium spiced curry sauce with succulent chicken. Not had anything this unique before. Badami Murgh also recommended - not as sweet as most nut based dishes end up being. Wish there were more restaurants with this unique menu and taste down south! Thanks for a pleasant - mouth watering meal!

Ordered a takeaway the other day for my wife and daughter. They really enjoyed their meal. The meals are good value for money and even better value if you pay cash. We'll definitely be ordering again...

I’ve ordered from the Bengal Lounge in Wetherby for years, but tonight’s takeaway was a bit of a let-down. My garlic naan had a gritty texture β€” I like authentic, but not literally like it’s been made on the streets of Delhi. The food itself just feels a bit bland these days, and prices seem to be creeping up each time. What also stood out was the lack of those little extras they used to throw in β€” no poppadoms, no small touches that made it feel special. After years of being a loyal customer, I think it might be time to start looking at alternatives.
