Just stopped to have a traditional Yorkshire fish and chip lunch en route to another destination. I have to say, absolutely amazing, possibly the bast fish and chips ever had, no bias at all. Extremely friendly staff helping to find somewhere to stop and eat them.
The Fish and Chips at The Frying Pan are unrivalled. The quality of fish is better than anywhere I have experienced elsewhere. The portions are large and the food is so tasty. It is very popular amongst the local community - so there is a constant flow of customers. This means that every portion is freshly fried to order. As you would imagine, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Go give The Frying Pan a visit - you will not regret it.
This is only my second visit and I've travelled 20 minutes, these fish and chips are great, by far the best in Wetherby, worth the 40 minute trip, they even wrapped them in some foil to keep them warm on my journey, they were perfect when I got home..
First time at The Frying pan and I can say NEVER AGAIN. Chips were old . Chemical taste and tasted like they were refried more than once. The cheeseburger was tasteless cheep individually wrapped processed cheese. The burger was 2mm thick . Extremely thin . You get just a flat burger with processed cheese and a bun nothing else. The haddock was not fresh and dry obviously been under the lights for hours. . But the gravy was nice and you were happy to take my money for this very disappointing poor excuse you call food. You should be ashamed!!
We love this local chippy. They serve beautiful fresh fish that can be fried to order We find that a large fish and chips with mushy peas is perfect for us to share Staff are always cheerful and friendly, even when very busy Thank you All
