We have always used mainstream agents in the past but having recently experienced poor service we were delighted to find James through a recommendation. From the initial meeting I felt confident James could help us sell our property. With a totally new professional approach, pro active marketing and constant updates we knew we had made the right decision. Viewings were accompanied and a buyer who was in a position to buy our home was quickly found. We were kept informed all through the sales process and were confident that James was professionally managing the various and sometimes complex issues that were raised through the legal process. I can highly recommend James Black Homes. James’ friendly and honest approach impressed me when we first met. I really liked his transparent approach to fees which made a nice change from other estate agents. He made some really helpful suggestions for staging the house for the photos - which were professional and excellent. I felt that my home was presented in absolutely the best way possible. James couldn’t do enough to help, which was great. He was excellent at keeping in touch and responding to my questions. I was delighted to get an asking price offer within the first week. Throughout the rest of the process he was supportive and worked hard to progress the chain to completion as quickly as possible. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend James to anyone thinking of selling their home - it’s a big deal and you want the right estate agent!

What can I say, other than James Black is fantastic! A first class service; knowledgeable friendly and professional. I have been lucky enough to know James a while and when I considered selling my house there was no other person I would place my house with. He has a wealth of experience within the housing market but also in the area. He is ultra efficient and has never let me down, not once! James was both the estate agent for the house we purchased and due to his outstanding service we choose to use Black Bricks to sell our previous property also. In both cases we were offered excellent advice and in particular for selling our old property he identified everything we needed to do to ensure a strong outcome on our sale. He was able to recommend additional companies to complete work and in each case (Solicitor, Gas Engineers, Decorators, Cleaners) every one was fantastic. Hopefully we've found our forever home now but I would recommend James and Black Bricks in a heartbeat.

We recently bought a property and found James to be extremely professional. We had his mobile which made him easy to contact. Nothing was too much trouble and he always responded quickly to any questions we asked. Above all his advise was great and you got the real sense that you could trust him. We have subsequently spoken to a number of people who have used him and they all hold him in high regard.
