Had a car problem needed to look examine underneath but the car park was rammed. I didn’t want to get my legs run over while I was checking under my car so thought it would be ok to stop in the empty caravan motor home part, literally no one there. As soon as u got out my car a security guy said I need to move and threatened me with a charge. He wouldn’t accept my plea that I needed some space for safely. So rude and inhumane. What harm was I doing.
Came here for fast electric car charging. The charging area is an absolute joke. No room to manoeuvre, dead ends you have to reverse out of and some not working so many are just going between charging points to find one that does, thus adding to the chaos. If your car has automatic emergency stop when things get too close be prepared for it to slam the breaks on in this area! The service building has good variety and plenty of amenities, although several sinks and almost no soap dispensers were working in the ladies toilets. It'll do as a stop off on long journeys, just take extra care if you need to charge an electric car.
Brilliant little stop off when in need of a quick rest. The services are clean and the staff are always smiling.
One of the larger and more modern service stations Good range of food and plenty of parking.
Nice service station on the A1m Decent food, EV charging points and traditional fuel. Toilets are decent too.
