generally nice park however reading some of the reviews here people still arent taking care of their dogs and putting them on leads quite literally every time i walk through that park i get surrounded and this morning genuinely chased by dogs and the owners dont seem to care and play it off as "he is friendly" PLEASE keep your dogs on a leash especially when people are just trying to have a walk or sit down in the park

It used to be a lovely open space for everyone. Now Leeds City Council have cordoned off huge amounts of it to plant trees, with no public consultation. It is no longer the green space the town wanted or deserves.

Beautiful park to be shared by ALL. It is mistakenly locally known as "the dog park" it is not a dog park. It's a park for everybody. So if your dog is aggressive towards a child do not ask the child to leave the park. Leash your dog and move on. This is sadly happening more and more.
