A beautiful normally quite location on the banks of the River Wharfe in Wetherby. Ideal for just to have a short stroll or even a picnic.
First time to this park and it was very enjoyable.
Pleasant area to walk around, bench seats overlooking the river footbridge give a great view over the river and surrounding fields. Children's play area is adjacent to the footbridge with footpaths following the river to the swimming baths and town center. Overall a nice area.
A lovely walk by the river, some benches. Lots of dog walkers, some small groups having a picnic. Playground area. Beautiful weather set it all off. Swimming pool, skateboard ramps, football fields. Walk along the river to Collingham. A lovely area.
Excellent place for walking with or without a dog. Great for watching the Kingfisher, if you are lucky enough to see one.
