Lovely walk from the free Wilderness Car Park alongside the River Wharfe. The path goes past several picnic tables under the road bridge and there’s a gentle sloping path up to the town centre. You can carry on past this path to view the replica water wheel, the ornate Salmon sculpture and the weir to walk past the gardens of The Old Mill apartments and up a steep road to the town centre.
Fabulous walk, beautiful scenery and obviously appreciated by local youngsters by the amount that were about when we were there. Marvellous.
